I have two opinions on this.

With_Teeth is the most accessable point in Reznor's discography. It's sort of a blend of both old era Nails and the Post soberity Nails. It's a perfect point to choose whether you want to jump forward or backwards

The second would be to start at Pretty Hate Machine (Or Purest Feeling demos) and listen to Reznor's evolution over 28 years.

I did the With_Teeth option and I kind of will I did it chronologically. Whatever you choose, I envy you.

the 2009 - 13 shows were suggested so that all eras of Nails was accounted for, and it's coupled with an extremely disciplined stage performance. Watching chaos is great, but first thing first is getting into the music.

If you enjoy Add Violence then you'll also enjoy Things Falling Apart, Hesitation Marks, Year Zero and Pretty Hate Machine.

NIN fan since 2005, absolute favorite of all time I highly recommend Things Falling Apart it's the greatest NIN release period, also super underrated.

But you have to expect that. I'd say that's the case for most artists except for like Michael Gira maybe. I'm just glad Trent is not on drugs and happy continuing to make music.

I'm also happy I'm not one of those people dissapointed with every release because it isn't like TDS.
