Yeezus was the album that really made me realize how important Kanye is to the hip-hop genre. I think now people will appreciate it more than they could have when it released.
We see this "punk" movement in hip-hop right now, and there has been a lot of animosity towards it, however it's not stopping anytime soon. Yeezus was the album which opened up that pathway for artists. The album makes more sense today than it did in 2013.

Eh, I suppose. It kinda felt like him incorporating death grips and other Industrial hip hop groups sound into his style. Also, the same could be said for 808s.
