Overall this has been a pretty decent album. Better than Dead End Kings but not by much. In my opinion its a little too proggy for my taste and the proggyness doesnt suit Katatonia that well. Dare I say like they're trying to be like Opeth but just barely. Still they definitely have some tracks that move forward in their sound but some just sound to rushed or done for the sake of being faster than what Katatonia is used too. Possibly due to some of the member chamges. Maybe I'm measuring everything too much to Night is the New Day but overall a solid album.

7/10 for me.
