Someone posted on HIL that the new Arcade Fire leaked on What.CD, which I thought was shut down.

can't tell if you're getting baited or if you're baiting the baiter, thus baiting me.
>>74077516
i'm all turned around.
fake news maybe
>>74077442
The band is currently doing a lot of silly fake news/coverage steeped in irony to fit the album's "everything now" technology theme" so I think this may be part of that whole thing.
>>74077558
i wouldn't have suspected anything weird had it been through getleaks or kingdom.
publicists must not be deep in the pirate game

Seriously, why would you want to listen to this? The singles were awful and according to early reviews they're the only noteworthy tracks. There's also like 4 versions of the title track.

i didn't listen to the singles.
been waiting for full albums lately so i dont get strong expectations one way or the other
listening to a full album gives me a different perspective.
been working out pretty well. BSS and Ariel Pink were total shit. Phoenix album felt solid all the way through.

I mean the whole promotion campaign has been conducted in a serious manner, however they haven't gone overboard to the point where you can no longer tell they're joking. If this is them, it wouldn't be surprising. The Swedish guy who runs HIL seems like the kind of person who would play along with them.

>according to reviews
hivemind takes from snobby new yorkers. hard pass on that judgement.
>>74077669
yeah this is pretty interesting if it is indeed them.
HIL is extremely popular, so it kind of makes sense

Not 320 tho
Listening right now. Obviously it is not Funeral or The Suburbs, but I'm enjoying desu. I just wish this guys wouldn't take themselves so seriously all the time.

Yeah, they're popular because they only report leaks whereas other sites actually link to downloads. HIL is even popular among normies and musicians themselves.
