I like his reviews, but what's up with that other channel with absolute nonsense videos? and it's apparently even more popular than the music one?
Takes himself a bit too seriously imo. He makes videos about menial shit too much too often. His album reviews are precisely articulated where I almost always understand his viewpoint but don't necessarily agree (he can be a bit too pretentious). Also he's greatly biased towards weird outcast genre-punks because he projects his own unresolved teen angst on them which ends in adding 1 or 2 undeserved extra points.
He's still the GOAT melon on youtube tho.
I get the appeal but I personally can't get into him. His album reviews get a little boring after two minutes and I never usually agree with him, anyway.
People talk about him too much

He's a genius, you fucking idiot. The fact that you can't even wrap your head around his creative cadences that are beautifully juxtaposed with state-of-the-arck production proves that you don't have a good creative sense. His minimalist lyrics parallel the growing dissatisfaction among young people with "mature," chaotic trivialities that seem to bog down society thanks to the old-fashioned societal paradigms enforced by conservatives and babyboomers. Pump sacrifices the tropes of out-dated hip/hop and diverts all of his creative energy to the emotion that drives young people that are trying to fix the broken ways of the world. Face it grandpa, you're just upset with the ever-impending doom of your existence that manifests itself in the dislike of new and promising artistic visions.
