that's not a debut
I'm dumb I didn't see 'debut'
High Voltage

PHM doesn't count because it's synth pop and the Broken EP is an EP.
>>74073578
of course PHM counts you cocksucking goblin
>>74073431
By sales, this is technically true
>>74073634
TDS was the Debut of a grittier, harder, existentail NIN. For example you could say OKC was the true debut of Radiohead.
Are you dumb? Are you physically impaired? Are you blind? You are what causes the Idiocracy of the future.
Are you employed? For how much?
>>74073834
That's obviously not what OP meant you retard. He wanted a more successful debut because the debut is what puts an artist out there and is generally harder to succed comercially. OK Computer is not fit for this thread, TDS is not fit for this thread, and you're a fucking idiot.
>>74073834
Since when the fuck do people count debuts into sound as debuts?
Radiohead's debut was Pablo Honey, NIN's debut was Pretty Hate Machine. If an artist changes their sound later, great. That's called evolution, you fucking moron. Every (good) artist evolves, that doesn't mean you discredit their start.
Are you dumb? Are you physically impaired? Are you blind? Are you employed? For how much?

0.o tough guy.
If an artist creates a new band seperate from his old work, and releases an album under the new name, it's considered a Debut.
TDS is pretty much a Debut, it's much darker than PHM, the same can be said for TF which followed five years later and is much grimier. This gives it a more original sound.

>Bjork - Debut
>It's not actually her debut.
Here you go OP
>>74073956
and if we're talking about critical success as well as good commercial performance. Hybrid Theory is the best-selling debut of the century.

>If an artist creates a new band seperate from his old work, and releases an album under the new name, it's considered a Debut.
Yes. But PHM was released under the name Nine Inch Nails, and Pablo Honey was released under the name Radiohead. Again, you're a fucking moron.

>If an artist creates a new band seperate from his old work, and releases an album under the new name, it's considered a Debut.
well it's a shame Trent didn't do that huh you fucking idiot
it doesn't matter how original or different TDS is, it's not a debut just because you want it to be.
>>74073295
In the end, does a debut even matter?
>>74074012
>implying I call Debut her debut just because it's the title
>>74073834
Broken was the debut of Industrial NIN anyways, so you're still wrong.
>>74074047
Seriously how did they think that was a good album cover
They were not as commercially succesful back then, but counting in technical sound...
>get hit by bottle at concert
>better commit suicide
>>74074190
Only TDS, YZ and TS are the same kind of industrial. BEP, TF and NTAE are a different sort.
