Eminem is a better rapper, Kendrick makes better music (in general). Eminem has the better individual songs however. Nothing kenny has made is on the level of stan, lose yourself or renegade.

On the other hand em couldn't hope to make a project as cohesive and ambitious as GKMC and it's storytelling. Kenny fell off hard since then unfortunately.

Overall Kendrick hasn't done enough to surpass Eminem's legacy just yet, but if he can find himself artistically it won't take much longer to become the better of the two in terms of discog and being a hip-hop artist. Eminem will remain the superior rapper though.

Eminem is more talented at the actual rapping part and I hope nobody is stupid enough to deny this. He's a lot more clever lyrically too, I'm always impressed by his wordplay. That said, Kendrick's lyrics are almost always more meaningful, and he's a lot better at storytelling. Who you like more really depends what you're looking for, they're both among the greats as far as I'm concerned.
