this is pretty much the song that came to mind when the news of his death came to light. it's pretty sad. if only he kept his frustration with linkin park's new sound under control, he could've just waited it out until they could go back to their original style, but instead he felt like he had to be 100% loyal to the band and the studio before the fans that supported them

That is my absolute favorite Linkin Park song and one of my Top 10 favorite Trip-hop songs and i didn't even know it had an official video.

Unpopular opinion: That very same Trip-hop prevalence is what Makes Reanimation my favorite Linkin Park album. I dare say most of the songs there are exponentionally better than their original counterparts except for the admittedly butchered Place For My Head and In The End.

Pushing Me Away will always be my favorite song by them. I really liked Numb before the radio overplayed it and killed it for me.

I loved them when I was a kid and didn't know shit about music. Years later they fell out of favor for me, but, cringey lyrics aside, I recognize they had some pretty decent songs IMO:

This, but with The Requiem instead of Burning In The Skies. Thought this was their best on release and I still think so nearly 7 years later, though they came back decently strong with The Hunting Party.
