If it didn't have those Kesha-like vox on Blackout and removed the cringefest ending that is The Messenger, the i'd agree.

I was surprised by how "artsy" the album was. They definitely took some risks and overall this is their album that has the best flow. It's a pretty good album overall, which by LP standards means spectacular.

Yes, this album proved that they had real talent, but their other albums were held back by a requirement to appear "commerical".
