Hey /mu/ it seems with so much music out there now and so many indie types and stuff everywhere along with shit music being insanely popular or at least music that does not interest me it seems that you can not just sit around and hope good music finds you anymore and you have to go find it
So in that case what is the best app out there where I can listen to music and it will help me find artists and songs similar so I can keep finding new stuff that I may love?
Spotify

Pandora

I really enjoy Google play music. Though some of the interface could be much better and some music is missing even though the artist is listed.
That said I enjoy having YouTube Red with it as well and being able to upload your own music is nice.

Listening to music is not OPs problem it is finding new music along the lines of what he likes and pandora is better at that than spotify is

True. Well Google Plays radio option isn't too bad. Also helps that they recommend new releases based on the artists you like.
Wish it had a follow option though.
That said I haven't used Pandora in like 6 years. I remember it having too many ads and not being able to skip certain tracks sucked.
