I promise is a great track, should have been a B-side to one of the singles or put on How am I driving
Man of War is fucking amazing, everything I could have hoped for. Still wish they had "what a nasty surprise"
Lift is kinda meh, should have been a b-side to street spirit honestly in current form. Feels like maybe it needed a touchup or given a nude treatment.
I Promise was the best of the three. Interesting to see that Thom's lyrics were already heading into more repetitive phrases before Kid A.
Man of War sounds better live, it's alright.
Lift was disappointing, I'd never listened to it before this release and always heard it get hyped up so much. The chorus was decent, but other than that, it's pretty forgettable.

Lift was eh
I Promise was alright, kinda boring
Man O War was incredible
pretty decent
of course nowhere near as good as radioheadfags are making them out to be
I Promise and Man Of War are great, while Lift got fucked with that faux intro and weird as fuck mixing (bass, chorus synths and Thom's vocals are loud as hell while the guitars, verse synths and Ed's vocals sound thin as hell). Nowhere near as good as the versions that have been floating around, the mix completely destroys it on OKNOTOK.

This sounds way the fuck better than the OKNOTOK version IMO.
Man Of War > I Promise = Lift
Lift sounded more fit for The Bends
Enjoyed all of them though. I think Man Of War would have fit well with OK Computer but I wouldn't know where it would go. Maybe after Paranoid Android?
