When i was a kid i loved jazz, i asked my father one day "daddy, why does jazz always sounds good ?"

but now that i'm 24 i don't listen to jazz that much anymore, i prefer rock stuff

Two completely different types of music, compositionally and stylistically. As others have said they aren't comparable. You can compare Classical to other styles of orchestral music but Jazz is really now an umbrella term for lots of different styles of music that utilises Jazz theory; it's difficult to compare the two.
