The Spanish language just sounds so unpleasant when it's sung. I normally have no problem with other languages (even like some better than English) but something about Spanish just doesn't work with music. Half the singers sound like they have colds, and half just sound "off" due to the words they're saying. Doesn't allow for good integration with music outside of reggaeton and generic fiesta shit.

I've found that English, French, and Japanese seem to work the best when sung.
Slavic languages like Russian are too "blocky" to really sound good, even though they're cool when spoken.
Conversely, Mandarin can work pretty well considering it sounds like demonic tongues when spoken.
