Anyone excited for the new Iceage album? I thought Marching Church was meh but I've loved all Iceage releases.

Which one of these is better?
>>
>>74011656
Of course. Did you listen to the new songs they played in Moscow a few days ago?
>>
>>74011673
Never heard This Heat, but I prefer Heaven Up Here to Metal Box, plus I think it fits the group better. Metal Box has more drawn-out, experimental stuff, whereas the other albums are more conventional in scope.

How is Y conventional?

he means the albums in OP dummy

Metal Box, I believe, is more fractured, sprawling, and difficult to pin down. It's not to say that Y is accessible by comparison, but Y still feels like an album of normal proportions.

Flowers of Romance would fit the group fine now that you have pointed that out

Marching Church is kind of meh, indeed. Though you got to recognize that Telling it Like It Is is more structured and coherent than This World is Not Enough. Far better album, that seems like progression to me
