I'm not sure Eldorado is underrated, perhaps under-discussed just because there isn't much to say. But people tend to think it's ELO's best overall album although it doesn't have many standout songs.

jesus christ
i think this is the worst cover art ive ever seen
the highest I've seen this album get is a 7, fantano gave it a 6, but it's clearly at least a 9 if not a 10

Gets overshadowed by Diary too much. I prefer Diary but this album has plenty of amazing high points too.

got the first edition on vinyl, good shit
These two were fantastic imo but nearly unheard of. Eh take it or leave it.
Easily their best along with Selling England, Duke's Travels is one of their best songs. People just hate on this album because they won't stop sucking Peter Gabriel's dick.

Phil Collins sold out. He fucking ruined Genesis

>t. Peter Gabriel

>muh sellout
Genesis was actually good during the 1980s unlike other prog bands that made generic AOR. Their only truly shit albums are their first one and their last one. We Cant Dance is mediocre outside of a few songs.

Tony Banks was the one who sold out. From the 70s to the 90s the bulk of their music was written by him.
