I started out not getting it at all, having gotten into Cure with Disintegration and Pornography. Now I've realized it's an immensely important part of their discography, and the clearest expression of Robert Smith's sexual lyrical content. It's loads of fun to lie down on a hot summer afternoon and get swallowed by velvet and bugs in a way you can't with any other Cure album - even Disintegration is too much of a towering monolith to really get intimate with. It goes without saying that Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me is the perfect album to fuck to.

Same Deep Water will always be my absolute favorite, but that could be personal bias.
I always find myself picking up whenever I hear that glass shattering at the beginning of Disintegration too. That whole album is incredible.

Head on the Door is a close second for me though, just above Pornography.
