I saw Logic live last night with Joey Badass (I went for Joey, haven't listened to more than 2-3 Logic songs prior to the show), and I thought he put on a pretty good show. I go ahead and decide to check out more of his stuff afterward, and everyone is absolutely shitting on this. Just how bad could this be, /mu/?

What about his music, in particular, makes you think this? Pseudo-political commentary? He's not the only big name in hip hop to be doing this.
Pretty funny that people lump Joey in with that kind of demographic now because he put out 1999 when he was still in high school.
