Actually I'm a fan of anything Wildlife and on. Their earlier stuff doesn't appeal to me. I like the direction they're taking. Not as "hardcore" but still pleasant to listen to

Unwound's pre-challenge for a civilized society stuff is amazing, especially repetition and fake plastic ideas.

Post-hardcore hits a sweet spot for me that doesn't even make sense given my preferences or history with music.

>started with funk and disco
>moved to The Beatles, The Who and The Kinks
>went to IDM and Prog Rock
>listened to mostly Post-Punk for a few months
>spent like two years listening to Jazz, Canterbury prog and Zappa and Beefheary
>found Post-Hardcore and it became my favorite genre overnight

I don't even listen to it that much but it's always something that makes me feel great. I don't even know why.
