>tfw too creatively dull to make music
I have the technical background and I'm familiar with quite a bit of theory. I know how synths work, I can easily navigate my way around Ableton and I can mix and master.
But I cannot for the life of me create an original or interesting melody, I am stumped when it comes to arranging a track and my songs end up sounding incredibly bland and uninspired.
I've been producing for over 7 years now and despite my experience with music software and hardware I simply can't make a decent song. Maybe I'm autistic?
Anyone else know this feel?

This LMMS is any easy? I've been thinking of making some tunes because of boredom.

freedom may be the foundation of creativity, but constraints allow it to be harnessed far better.
