Literally everyone I know recommend Game of Thrones to me, but I'm still hesitant to watch it. Because of all the nudity, I already have a hard time taking any of it seriously. Am I going to a TV show equivalent of a superhero movie or something actually worthwhile?

I've gotten into the habit of watching it each day a new episode is released when I am having some dinner at my laptop like a typical disaffected millennial. For that activity it is a fine and entertaining distraction during fat boy meal time.

Anyone who thinks the show warrants any more merit than that is a megapleb and you should ignore them.

The script is so much worse without the books to help it. All of the Lannister stuff in this episode was poorly written, same goes for Winterfell (Lyanna Mormont cringe). Then Ed Sheeran, who seems like a nice guy, comes along and ruins any semblance of seriousness still in the episode.
