never listened to it because the album art is hideous
I play it more than any radiohead. it did not jump out at me at first but i really love it
>>73965500
it looks otherworldly.. Nothing wrong with it at all. Are you expecting some fat cunt with big tits on the cover or something?
>>73965500
well that's how you should always judge MUSIC
not by how it SOUNDS
but by the cover! you're brilliant
>>73965508
"There Is No Ice (For My Drink)" is really trippy.. I didn't remember such a cool experimental track on here
tom york
>>73965549
too late, she ded
>>73965540
and how it flows into pink noise, actually gonna listen to this album now. truly underrated indeed.
i'm thom yorke btw
is it better than his paranoid android live performances?
>>73965518
it's an electronic album, i get it. the least you can do is be creative with your cover so it stands out from the rest of the mediocrity.
>>73965528
i wasn't judging the music reddit spacer
the i listened to four tet starter pack >>73965481
>>73965584
yes, and that is precisely what i would compare it to as a gauge of whether to listen to it.
>>73965636
caribou rapes four tet
>>73965630
yeah, i mean electronic album = must have a cover. forget those guys who release white labels in electronic music for decades because they can' t be bothered to get a photo. we've got to get this guy something eye-catching. or he will not listen. nope. not creative enough. sorry, thom. no dice. you should have had a prettier picture. your music is not enough anymore.
eraser is better
I actually do like quite a bit so yes.
>>73965500
it would be cool without the box n text
>>73965779
because it has a better cover, yes, you are right. better cover = better music
(reddit space)
i judge it by its cover only. then i listen. if the cover was good enough to make me listen, then it's great. in fact, i don't play the whole album. just the first 10 seconds after seeing the cover. i need to know if it's electronic and then match that with whether or not it's creative enough cover-wise, because it has to stand out from the mediocrity. i mean, that's the least a musician can do, right?
>I reckon if Thom Yorke fucking shit into a light bulb and started blowing it like an empty beer bottle it’d probably get 9 out of 10
>>73966299
would still be better than most music today
>>73965636
Fuck four tit
TMB is worse than The Eraser and that album was terrible. I'll never get excited about a Thom solo release again.
>>73966809
The Eraser is great.. melodies are so good. Dunno why people dislike it. maybe smoke a fatty and listen again?
>>73965779
>>73965844
what the fuck is this board now
>>73965481
Yeah, I absolutely love it- I'd say it's better than The Bends and In Rainbows. It's by far the bleakest project any member of Radiohead has ever been involved with, and despite Yorke's minimalist style the music still manages to be very powerful. It's better than The Eraser in every possible way.
>>73965481
I like the album but it isn't as solid as the eraser. Still, it is definitely an interesting listen, I keep it on my phone
>>73967245
In Rainbows isn't that great imo
Truth Ray is such a good track.
>>73965481
one of the tracks literally popped into my head this morning. this some spooky shit
>>73967245
>>73967573
stop baiting you retards
Even Everyday Robots by Damon Alabarn is better than this
not joking, i like this more than any radiohead release because it's not full of guitar and the sound or feeling of a band. eraser is still very similar to radiohead for me. this is closer to atoms for peace, yet more straightforward. maybe it's shitty but that's why i like it.
>>73967714
its not tho
radiohead sucks but this album is solid, there i said it
