these internet genre names are getting sillier and sillier

Well this is just a combo of dungeon synth and noise, which are both terms that have been around for a while

I'd say go for maybe Roman Master but they're actually all somewhat different

What is dungeon noise?
There's some crazy stuff on here. Love the Werewolfsblut release.

Personally dove into dungeon noise with Tyrannus and Einhorn (same dude), but I also feel like Ranseur is a pretty good point to start as well. That Alder Deep release is pretty great, a limited run of tapes was recently released of it.
I made Frozen Solitude - Glacial Chambers like a week ago, whoever made this is quick
Bumping because this has peeked my interest
Look, i'm sorry if this is considered a shitpost, but i've been wondering for at least a year now and i can never manage to ask.
So i might as well ask now.
This isn't exactly the right thread for it but there's no /Dungeon Synth/ general right now, this thread is the next best thing and i'm sure it's full of people that are familiar with dungeon synth in the first place and can help me out.
Can the Legacy Of Kain Soul Reaver soundtrack be considered dungeon synth, or am i misunderstanding the genre?

It was made by Kurt Harland, the guy from Information Society.
Checking those
It would be better if they mixed drone doom metal with dungeon synth (or winter synth), instead of this mess.
Right now it looks like artist noise artist A and dungeon synth artist B picked a song length, and each one made their own song alone that was then merged without any further change to make the thing work

This gave me some idea, will go back in some minutes

Trollmann av Ildtoppberg

There are some dungeon noise releases where I feel like the noise and the synths are pretty disconnected, but I feel in general dungeon noise artists are doing a pretty good job merging noise and dungeon synth. Plus, dungeon noise is a pretty new phenomenon, so there's a lot of growth and exploration that can take place.
If you're looking for droney dungeon synth, I highly recommend Erdstall, or any of the several other projects that guy is behind.
