Buildings and Railroads are genuinely some of their best pieces yet, though. It's gonna be a short album like Asunder but I think it will be as good, if not better than Allelujah.

Asunder seems to get shit on a lot for the 13 minutes of ambiance in the middle. It's almost like people forget that either side of that ambiance are two of the best songs Godspeed have put out.

Piss Crowns is 10/10 for sure but Peasantry just feels like them paying tribute to Hex / Bees era Earth. I don't dislike it but I also wouldn't call it one of their best tracks. And the drone with distorted strings that compose most of Asunder, Sweet are phenomenal too. Criminally overlooked. I couldn't dive into Piss Crowns without them.

It's autistic as fuck but I've never listened to any Godspeed unless it was an entire LP/EP. I don't think I could just start midway through LYSF or something, or stop after the first track on an album. It would just feel weird.

To be fair, theres a 95% likelihood that this album consists of Buildings and Railroads, which have already been played live, exist on a decently mastered bootleg, and constitute some of Godspeed best material.
