What's the best group and why is it Ultravox?

Just listened to Vienna and it was pretty good, what should I listen to next

Vienna was a great record. During that time they (along with Duran Duran) were one of the first bands to approach music video in a cinematic way - I think they used Russell Malcahy as a director and used movie film instead of videotape - so they actually hold up pretty well.

I'd move to Quartet or Rage in Eden next. Quartet was a little better, imho.

Don't totally dismiss John Foxx either though. Systems of Romance was a groundbreaking album for synthesizer music.

I loved the debut but Vienna rocks too hard and its kind of embarrassing to listen to, any tips on getting into that era?
