My fucking German teacher had us use this for the AP Exam and the audio was so unbearable that we had to redo the entire speaking part

Okay, I've never shared anything before, but I was feeling blue as hell and decided to just go ahead and record something. This is a version of Bob Dylan's Simple Twist of Fate I've been working on. It's still a little rough around the others and singing very softly, almost a whisper sometimes, because it's 11:20pm and I don't want to bug my neighbor. I might redo it some other time when I can really put my all into the vocal part and try to make less mistakes.

I only live because I was playing guitar. Someone who doesn't even speak my language told me to keep walking. Keep playing man. It might save your life someday

I've never used my laptop mic, I'm shocked at how truly, truly useless it is. Here's Marie by Townes Van Zandt.

I can't even listen to my cheapo headset recordings without my ears bleeding, no point uploading.
Btw you need to practice your lower range more, your dirty filter drops off on the lower notes. Sounds good in the mid range however.

At least he's not butchering Catch the Rainbow like I just did on my headset.
I recorded this a few weeks ago, part of John Fahey's Poor Boy Long Ways From Home
The rest of the file is too big to upload, it's like 12 minutes

Reminds me of the opening rift to Losing My Religion
Bump because I want to hear more.
I sadly can't use vocarro because I have no microphone, so I had to record via phone and upload it.
It's a short Death in June Cover I wanted to try out, not sure if my voice sounds pleasant though, don't have much experience or lessons in singing.
Anyways, pls rate:

Why would you?
We're all pretty terrible at this.

There's some extra element to real music like this which appeals to me.

You have a great voice, absolutely amazing for this song. Why don't you play guitar or something?

Shit you mean I could've just uploaded a recording from my handyrecorder and I didn't have to fuck around for half hour+ trying to get a half decent recording out of my computer mic?
Well.....
