Arcade Fire now suffers from the same shit that's ruining LCD Soundsystem. That is, the desire to be "relevant" with pseudo-political lyrics and cringy shit thats meant to be hyper relatable. Ironically though they just ruin the fucking music by trying so hard. People never listened to these bands for social commentary if you could even call it that. Just make solid indie albums you out of touch fucks.

Not that Arcade Fire was ever that good. They've always kind of just coasted on their singles, nostalgic aesthetic. and good marketing.

I actually like Electric Blue. It's catchy and way less tryhard than Creature Comfort and, ugh, Signs of Life.
