Get Your Wings, Rocks, and Toys In the Attic are all pretty good 70s AOR rock.

All the shit they made in the 80s and 90s is cancer though.

Yeah, I mean, arguably their first five albums are all decent to good.

Rocks in particular is very good. "Back in the Saddle" is such a great opening song. If I'm being honest, Rocks is the only Aerosmith album I still bump from time to time.

The problem with Aerosmith is that they didn't really want to be rock stars, more just a niche AOR band like Black Sabbath or Blue Oyster Cult, but Columbia were eager to make them into the next Led Zeppelin, and they couldn't handle the pressure of fame and fell into horrible drug abuse. A huge chunk of their prime career years were lost thanks to this.
