Why doesnt this album get as much attention as ITAOS

it's not very meme-worthy or surreal

just great songwriting

i think due to its lo-fi nature its harder to get into, whereas ITAOTS is pretty easy to get into (I LOVE YOU JESUS CHRIST isn't exactly subtle)

almost all of their songs are 1 minute long and Pollard writes pop songs. this board has liked plenty of albums that sound much rougher than this.

i dont know, me personally this album is one of my all time favourites but it took me a number of listens to get into because of the lo-fi aspect

It's not especially lo-fi and the songs are very catchy. I love this album but it's not exactly very dense or inaccessible music.
