i actually really liked it at first but it got old really fast, love his early stuff w/ hg and listen to it all the time. i dig the homage thing but my interest faded quickly with pom pom

desu all of the hi-fi stuff have been pretty good, with a few rusty spots, where the album temporarily loses its momentum.
and that's not to say that all of his "8-track era" albums are all good (see: Underground, Scared Famous, FF >>)

the first half of Scared Famous is really solid, i like every single track

its good. i kinda miss the more over the top stuff that was on pom pom, but i like the more lo-fi sound and chill atmosphere.
