I make CD mixtapes as gifts & for myself, if you use mp3s on CDs they're losing quality when they're converted. If you use lossless you never lose quality :^)
>has a superiority complex about listening to music in inferior quality
Disk space stopped being prohibitively expensive for storing music more than 5 years ago
Are you so poor that your hard drive space is a problem?

Convert it with LAME then?
>>73894284
That's the point. Why not having them in 320 mp3 from the start?
I prefer AAC though
>>73894301
So you can convert it to a better format if one is made.
320 mp3 is enough. FLAC is going overboard

Also good point. But the "better" format is going to be smaller and more efficient. Still, I dont see the problem. Just convert it to that more efficient problem from the mp3/aac file.

Look, this is link for a song in a 128kbps HE-AAC codec. Try to catch a difference between that one and the 320kbps one included.
lol dude there's no difference between 1411 and 320 kbps, give me my apple earpods i'll prove you
>>73894355
seriously, with all this resolution technology provides it doesnt make sense because my ears are still shit, unless the quality is terrible i wouldn't know, i mean shit do people even listen to live music any more, or music from before 1970, or music that was recorded on a shitty system?
