Well at the end of the day Manson at his best is better than Trent at his best. Manson was at his best lyrically for 4 albums, you could argue 5 because Pale Emperor had some good lyricism too.
Trent was at his best lyrically for 1 album and 1 EP, and maybe on PHM if you really want to stretch it, but he was below average lyrically on all his other albums.
