Apart from it being the saddest fucking album I've ever listened, I think that listening to this album once is enough. The vocals and the story being told are the most important parts. Listen to it once and you know the story.

Yeah conscious rap is great and everything, but it's not something I'm usually in the mood to listen to. Even when it's an amazing album like this.
