why do rockists only know aphex twin, burial and boc when it comes to electronic music.
all of them haven't made a decent release in awhile. yet thats all this board talks about
fuck off, OPN and jon hopkins etc are just as spammed as radiohead or kendrick and /bleep/ is shit
But Syro is AFX best album after Druqks. And Tomorrows Harvest is BOC best release after Geogaddi anon

>OPN and jon hopkins
more rockists electronic
yawn
The structures used in a typical Aphex or BOC track are very much something rockists can enjoy because it's closer to typical pop music than the more minimalist music inspired structure of typical electronic music. Burial's way of adding layers and changes in his music also gives a similar illusion of structures that rock listeners can more closely appreciate, though not on the level of the previous two. BOC and Burial in particular also have a sort of laidback somewhat dreamy atmosphere that indiefags love as well. It's also why others who either follow the first tenant on structure like Flying Lotus or who follow the second tenant like OPN also get a lot of love as well.

Because you can turn on any top 40 radio if you want to listen to shitty dance music. And if you want boring shitty dance music made by boring white guys, there are hours of boiler room sets.

Are you stupid? It's because Thom Yorke namedropped warp records artists and /mu/ is full of radiohead fans.
