Dadrock doesn't specifically have a time frame. It's more of a sound of blues influenced stadium rock. Out of 90s bands I'd say bands like Soundgarden and RHCP are more dad rock. In the future, bands like the White Stripes, Tame Impala, and Royal Blood will be dad rock.
