>"They'll make songs about being "sexually assaulted" or how "empowering" abortions are or some shit, and it's fucking retarded. They're embarrassing themselves."
>"So excited to be moving to Europe, but I will always consider myself a red-blooded American, and just like the waves of refugees pouring into Europe I will not be learning any new languages or culturally assimilating."
>Gets dropped
Lmao.
At the risk of sounding like a shill, maybe throw some shekels at them if you like it. I've only heard the first song, so I'm not sure if I will. It's pretty LARPy psychedelic rock pastiche, but it's well done for what it is if the first track is any indication.

This band is 70s cosplay. Mathew Melton has never made a good record.

Prog Rock has always been a comparatively conservative genre

Not with Pink Floyd, King Crimson and Genesis at the forefront

Genesis had a few members who were Tories. Yes does as well. Rush are another obvious one.
It's not universally conservative, of course, but compared to how universally lefty some genres are.
Dream Machine isn't a prog rock band.
Popular rock music on the whole has been the purview of white guys. And prog rock has been the domain of nerdy white guys. Just the demographics of these bands suggests shit is likely to skew conservative.
It's like if you went to a hypothetical monogolian cave painting BBS populated largely by nerdy white guys. That would skew rightwing just because of the user base.
