A story goes that Albini had the misfortune of sharing some communal transportation with Odd Future right around the time that the latter were blowing up, running across roofs, still mostly being under 20 and realizing their power. Imagine the heady rush of being famous, having a dope squad, and add to this being black and under 20, and you start to realize how insufferable they would have been in person.

Juxtapose the angry young group of black men against an angry old white guy fuming in the corner, who always vaguely did look like a neo-nazi, and the humor of the tableaux couldn't be more clear.

A quotation attributed to Albini (perhaps in a real interview somewhere) characterized the group thus. If you watch the early OF youtube clips of their antics around the point of their critical mass, this account is wholly believable.
