meddle-era Floyd is trash

A Momentary Lapse Of Reason is fucking trash.
The rest is ok.
Division Bell is the only post-The Wall album worth listening to, and even then it's not much.
If they're not Animals then they must be shit right?
Not a one.

-The Final Cut
The Final Cut is a lyrical masterpiece. Gets a lot of hate hear though.
AMLOR is Pink Floyd's worst album. AOR bullshit from the Gilmour led Floyd.
The Division Bell is slightly better and it was nice to see Richard Wright get a bit of his mojo back before he passed. (High Hopes).
I found The Endless River to be interesting. An insight into how the band made music. Some good moments reminiscent of WYWH. Bit of a money grab but whatever.

So what are the albums lead by say roger and david?
>The Final Cut
Best Roger Waters solo album.
>A Momentary Lapse of Reason
Has one or two nice tracks like Yet Another Movie, not particularly good, but people really exaggerate how shit it really is.
>The Division Bell
Sounds like U2 dadrock for the most part, still one or two good tracks, but you can really tell it was over here.
>The Endless River
Shameless cashgrab, I refuse to listen to it or count it as part of their main discography.

Division Bell is semi-decent-ish
All other three are absolute trash
>>73869090
>more and obscured by clouds that low
It makes no sense considering they're basically light versions of your favorites.
The Division Bell kinda sucked, all the others are decent
>>73869020
yes, maybe, yes, no, from left to right
>>73869205
WYWH to The Wall. DSOTM and before the band was pretty equal creatively except for Piper of course. The Final Cut is basically a Waters solo album with Gilmour coming in to do a couple of solos.

not even going to read the rest of the thread
the only people who dislike momentary lapse of reason and especially division bell are watersfags. they can't stand the fact that gilmour and a group of guest musicians can perfectly emulate the pink floyd style. the only bad album there is endless river just because its nothing but leftover riffs and instrumentals stuck together with one bad single. the final cut is good but its like waters solo albums, not a pink floyd album.
High Hopes is PF's best song after Echoes. Anyone who disagrees has no clue what they're talking about.

The only person who was able to do the Pink Floyd style but equal or better to it was Robert Wyatt

It's not that good
