The election software I was developing was to help the country because nothing was being done in the government. I realized that the system that is in place is too entrenched to actually deploy it, so I decided not to. I may implement it on a local scale maybe 20+ years into the future, but only if I feel it'd be good for society. It's not trying to overthrow the government, or a revolution, it's just basically software that makes it so people can vote from their phones. It's not rocket science, it's computer science! lol
