Totally unrelated (I think that album is decent), but I only just looked at the cover bigger than a thumbnail and realized it's an optical illusion. It always occurred to me that it probably was, but I've never seen it bigger than a thumbnail. I see it like every single day (It's on my "albums" page which I go on many times a day)

MPP isn't really deep conceptually. Maybe through the layers of texture and instrumentation but even then it's really just pop structured music with catchy melodies.

sad these guys were never disciplined enough to properly finish a song.
If they'd been around in the '70's the artist & repertoire dept of their label would have pressured them to keep working at it until it was as good as possible. They could have been huge. But they're undisciplined and lazy, so their music is under-cooked. Sad.
