Hellbound Highball movement from Wynton Marsalis's "At the Octoroon Balls" for string quartet
Let me just check back through theneedledrop videos, brb
that specific incarnation of the Juilliard Quartet (Mann, Cohen, Hillyer, Adam) is what got me into chamber music to start with, when I heard their recording of Debussy's string quartet
from there I picked up all the RCA Victor Red Seal reissues on the Testament Label (Schubert, Mozart, Haydn, Ravel, Webern, Berg, Carter, Schuman), as well as the Bartok and Beethoven sets. I don't know what is is about that group, but every recording they made opened a door for me to actually feeling like I was understanding and enjoying classical music for the first time.
my favourite ensemble currently is the Dover Quartet, and I highly recommend you see them if they're touring near your area:
