Has anyone combined Grimes and psychedelics?
I took shrooms with a friend and put on Art Angels, then Visions, then her singles, and we both spazzed out how good it was. Only SCREAM and maybe Eight are bit jarring, everything else is just so fucking smooth and good, Belly of the Beat and Symphonia IX had me in tears. We did it one more time and I've tried it with another guy as well, he hadn't heard Grimes before but she simply just works.

i doubt that you even listen to it. there is some reverb/delay over her voice but the instrumentals are clear, the melodies are clear, the arrangements are clear. also her singing is frankly complex; there are tons of unexpected changes in her vocal performances. case in point: colour of moonlight and skin.
