I'm addicted to the dark, moody and deeply personal aspects of life. when I chance upon an interview with a musician that goes deep, whether they're discussing mental health, harsh truths, rough childhoods, etc. I almost shit myself with excitement over the context that it provides to their music. I'm not into that light-hearted Nardwuar shit so much.

not exactly music but it sounds like you'd enjoy the Louis CK interview w Marc Maron from the mid 2000's. Also I like John Frusciante's Heart is a Drum Machine interview or really any interview he gave in 2001.
