Beach House > My Bloody Valentine
You are objectively wrong.
You could have just made a thread that said "I have awful and indefensible opinions" and left it at that.

Not even the same genere you fuck
Good threads > shit threads like OP makes
>>73830843
>objectively
>>73830835
this is a pretty odd comparison.

Slowdive > Alvvays > Beach House > My Bloody Valentine
>>73831254
Yes, objectively.
>>73831333
Pretty interesting ranking.
I like both bands, but Beach House are basically the Foo Fighters of Dream Pop. They make the same album over and over and over again.... yet I always get each new album because I'm oddly addicted to them...
Anyway, your opinion is wrong OP. MBV did way more in one album than Beach House have done in their entire discography

thanks

MBV > Slowdive > Alvvays > Beach House so far but I'm hoping Antisocialites gives Alvvays the #2 spot

>They make the same album over and over and over again....
Depression Cherry was way different than Bloom (and way better.) And Bloom was way different than Teen Dream (and not as good.)
>>73832207
Their song formula is pretty similar throughout all of their albums though.
>>73831659
I find that while all their songs are similar, most of them have a little unique thing, be it a riff, a certain vocal melody, or whatever, that separates them from the rest. I feel the same about DIIV and Mac DeMarco('s first two albums).
>>73832233
Yeah it is pretty similar, I won't argue with that. But the slight stylistic changes really set each album apart imo.
Although Space Song literally sounds like every Beach House song condensed into 5 minutes.
>>73832207
the first half of Depression Cherry is killer, I don't understand why it's such a divided album
