is hard trance dead?

hell yes
Trance has been dead for about 10 years
its last heartbeat was contaminating EBM

damn
do you think trance will ever have a resonance?
>>73830339
I told you it resonated with the cybergoth scene in the late 2000s
now if you're talking about a resurgence, I don't fucking think so: unlike gabber, it never tried to cultivate fanbase chauvinism/loyalty so most trancefags moved on without any regret when they grew bored with it. it didn't try to cultivate elitist posturing either unlike minimalist techno so there's no interest in preserving it from pleb music because it never tried to distinguish itself from it.
The only way it could conceivably make a comeback would be if a whole generation re-discovers it through Mortal Kombat / Blade nostalgia and decides to revive it as a homage to late 90s black trenchcoat katana cyberpunk.
