Most of the songs you posted are from the movies Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He does the grandiose thing very well.

I can understand the appeal of bollywood music from an outsiders perspective, but growing up watching this shit leaves you disenchanted I guess.

Its repetitive, over-the-top and shoved in your face every fucking moment. Celebrity worship knows no bounds in India. Simultaneously, bollywood has repressed any chance of alternative, non-film music to be exposed to the main stream audiences by swallowing all the new talent. Those who relent silently fade into obscurity.

The ones you posted are decent songs. But for everyone of those good songs there are a 100 who try to copy it and inadvertently start a trend in which they beat a fresh idea to death. And cycle continues.
