Hey everyone I am a LSD therapist in California. I am looking for symphonies to help me improve my practice. Can you guys recommend me some classical music pieces that are ~50 minutes long? Especially ones that are particularly peaceful, or scary.
>>
In case anyone is interested here are some pieces I currently use.

Thank you this is the type of shit I'm here for. Might actually be too scary.
>>
Wait, so what exactly do you do as an "LSD therapist?" Genuinely curious. Is it an actual sanctioned practice? Have you ever heard of the Masters and Johnson clinic?

Cali baby

Gotterdammerung. Wagner on acid is still one of my favorite life experiences.
>>
My psychiatrist wants me to do LSD therapy but i keep telling him a bad trip is one of the reasons I'm this way in the first place.

Why are doctors so irresponsible?

There is a license which I have gotten in CA. But i was doing this before that was available, by referral only.

I only work with one client per month. It takes three weeks. I help them with more or less regular therapy, talk about their issues. We also clean their house, and set up a window three weeks later for the acid trip.

Then during the acid trip, it sort of breaks through all the therapy from before. Before the trip we don't actually talk about how to solve the issues, just what they are. THen during the trip it all sort of solves itself.

During the trip I have tons of toys and games for us to play to just relax and enjoy life. This is when the music comes into play.

Ligeti melodien, scary, not 50 mins long though
Beethoven 6th (pastoral), peaceful

>people will legitimately trust an Anon shitposting on /mu/ to guide them through tramatic experiences while on acid for money
>>
>>73811923
The bad trip is due to certain factors in your life. When you took the acid you got full insight into why you hate your life. Since then, I doubt you've changed the original problem (no offense i say it because I care) and now more problems have come up.
>>
>>73812018
I'm not trying to get any of you to trip with me. I'm asking mu for music suggestions.
>>
>>73811694
this is great dude thanks.
>>
>>73811928
Thanks. This is very nice.
>>
>>73811609
too skreechy
>>
>>73811992
Brilliant! It seems that only on the West coast are these kinds of practices happening. Regular medicine and psychotherapy are still behind after a half a century.

Anyway, I'd recommend Beethoven's 9th Symphony

what do you think about treating depression or other issues with ketamine?

how do you feel about microdosing?

are you involved with MAPS? they're rad.

to contribute:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWINpXNd5KE - Henry Miller really liked this guy

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fs_AgCTovik&t=1728s

this guy went crazy and lived in a castle with a private choir
>>
By the way, if you want to treat depression

Do things. Depression is inactivity

Eat real food when you're hungry

Sleep when you're tired and wake up when you wake up

Sit quietly for extended periods and monitor your mind and body

Find out how to practice the breath yoga called pranayama
>>
>>73812978
I don't think ketamine is particularly healthy. I think it's dangerous. However, I have heard of people who have good results. IMO those people would be better served doing an LSD course of treatment.

Microdosing is something I think is probably just an enhancement to one's life. However, it seems to be a slippery slope, sort of like cigarettes or pain pills. It's not unhealthy like those things, but don't think it's exactly smart to start because it'll be hard to stop.

Not personally associated with MAPS, mainly because I'm more of a shaman than a doctor. The people who do the science aren't me. Once there was a route to make what I do legal I went down it, but I don't exactly think of myself as part of or involved with the medical field. I'm more of like hey the people who have used me will recommend others, who do it on our word rather than the "system"

Thank you veyr much for the music.
>>
>>73813539
How can we get a hold of you? I'm interestedd
>>
I did therapy with mushrooms and my depression still hasn't come back. I still get a down once in a while, but no longer suicidal and generally much happier. Psychedelic therapy was effective in my case when traditional therapy and medication wasn't effective. I do however understand the reluctance of mainstream doctors to use psychedelics because they may not work for everybody and could lead to further issues
>>
>>73811992
Using the term "LSD therapist" sounds retarded, but this is legitimately a great idea. I genuinely wish such a professional figure was available in my country.
That said, I'm a classical music fan. What kind of symphonies do you need? What are the emotions and atmospheres you're trying to set for your patients.
>>
Where in Cali? How much do you sell tabs for?
>>
>>73811992
That's a great idea, but I suppose it also costs a bit of a fortune

It's not classical but it's about 42 minites long and the most amazing thing I've ever listened to, especially on lsd. It's called Long Season by Fishmans. Make sure it's the live verson.
>>
>>73813823
I agree about the term but it communicates the idea right away.

I'm looking particularly for music that is very light and flowing. Music that would be nice to color to. Or music that would go with pastel colors, if that makes sense. It has to be gentle to help like ease back into life.

>>73813887
I charge ~$3000. Some people have paid me lots more. Usually if someone does I do some for free for a couple months. I don't like having my services gated by money.
>>
>>73815281
Shit man I might wanna try this once I get my finances in order. Do you have a waitlist?
>>
Here is something else we listen to on acid. It's called change ringing. There are lots of more complex ones that this link

The problem for doctors prescribing LSD is that it's unpredictable. Not only is each patient different, each doctor is different. I'm always the same, so I can always help tailor the trip to the patient. Also, they would never do the acid WITH the person they are prescribing it to, unlike me.

I would do certain games with one person that I would never do with another. Same with music.

>>73815302
I'm in Massachusetts with my fiance for 6 months. I could possibly help you after that. [email protected]

I can't sell you any acid I'm sorry. Contact your local government and bitch about the law for me plz.

i hate almost all health related people mental or physical, traditional or alternative, the field seems to select for the most dense, overly high personal opinion of oneself people on the planet.

>>73815281
shoutout to you man you seem like a great person
while it's not typical classical, maybe try out some ambient stuff

if you're doing pastel ameture coloring/ illustrating type art you should be listening to impressionist and romantic classical music, like debussy, brahms, chopin is great for relaxing. i think any of that would be more relaxing than bach and other baroque composers.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUx6ZY60uiI
>>
That comment was not mine. I don't give that type of advice.

You sound like you might not "need" my therapy, although if you actually engaged I bet you would be happier afterwards. I will say that you tripped with me for the fun of it, you would have one of the best times of your life.
>>
>>73815669
You do know that you can do two things in one day, right?
Jesus you're a fucking idiot.
>>
>>73815838
so according to health experts the cure to depression is sitting around the house and eating food but only when you have hunger
>>
>>73815860
Guys the cure for depression is to find the cause of depression. It's usually someone or a habit the person has. Those other things will improve your life bit not solve the issue
>>
>>73815809
Thanks. This is the type of content I need. Do you have anything that you would call thrilling? It doesn't have to be gentle.
