Is there any way to utilize ukulele other than shitty indie folk? I had pic related for quite a few years now and I really couldn't find a proper use for it except for really cringy NMH covers I made long ago. I know it's the ultimate nu-male instrument, but I don't want to get rid of it either.

Traditional Hawaiian music or Jake Shimabukuro style shredding/finger arranging. It's essentially a small acoustic guitar that has a different timbre, more like a classical guitar.

Just don't strum exclusively upbeat 4-chord songs and you can avoid that sound.
