First side sounded too much like Basses Loaded but without the experimentation.
The riffs were good but not great and the first song dragged on for 2-3 minutes too long. Even if it is only 38 minutes. Side Two was filled with cool sounds and had a dark atmosphere, but it would benefit having been cut down. 6/10

Even if Side Two is a soundtrack for a movie and not an album in the proper sense, all the best Melvins albums combined experimental stuff with the stoner sludge stuff such as Hostile Ambient Takeover, Eggnog/Lysol, Stag. Id probably also enjoy Side One of they turned up the distortion and made the beats heavier. However Christ Hammer and Euthanasia are great songs.

Also everything they've done recently would sound better if Buzz's tone didn't sound like a low bitrate fart.

How many albums does this make in 15 months? 4 maybe 5? I've loved all of them so I'm nervous to hear this in case it breaks my streak.
