and also it's from a Brooklyn perspective. The Jews (especially orthodox) are primarily into real estate in Brooklyn and own a ton of the properties and they keep it sort of in the family. The fact that Jews rent all the real estate and support each other is basically the kind of values Jay Z is weirdly trying to tell black people to do on this album. It's (i guess?) admirable but its pretty laughable to hear him try to explain compound interest over a rap beat. Pretty patronizing as an lyrical theme too but whatever.
