Any workout routine that presents itself as a means to an end is a waste of your time. There is no end with lifting, just giving up. What I mean is that, if you wanna look like a gym dude, you have to be a gym dude. After a few months of being a gym dude, you will start to look like a gym dude. A few months after you quit being a gym dude, you will stop looking like a gym dude.

It's more like cleaning than a permanent upgrade. You wouldn't do a "F-60Z X-Treme Cleaning Program" like "this will make it so I have a clean apartment." You just have to regularly clean your apartment. If you stop cleaning, it gets dirty again.

So if you wanna look /fit/, you have to make the decision that lifting weights is going to be a major hobby and incorporate it into your way of life.
